I love Denmark because our society cares for those who are less lucky.. I don´t mind the high taxes, I sure get more than enough out of it!

..if I could change one thing, it is the way our politicians are headed right now. Things are getting more and more liberal + racistic. NOOT a good combination.

The saddest thing is, that because our current government sucks people think all danes think like that. Which makes me sad and not proud at all :(

We don't have free healthcare in Denmark. We basically pay some of the worlds highest taxes for some of the shittiest hospitals and schools. It is not free - because it is PAID through taxes. Don't mind the danish trolls in here trolling/spamming while saying retarded things like "we have no homeless and free healthcare",it's a hoax. In Feb. 2009 there were 2009 homeless people in Denmark, taken directly from the official denmark statistics.

..jeg kan simpelthen ikke modstå fristelsen til lige at gøre opmærksom på at jeg med "kommunismen i dens oprindelige betydning" hentyder til Marx' værker og ikke Lenin, Stalin og Co.'s fortolkning. (Heriblandt Mao, Kim Jung Il..) -I hvilket tilfælde det jo netop er en yderst demokratisk tanke. Fascisme er ikke min kop te ;)

@MrsArikitari Helt i orden da ;) Men vi kan så samtidigt konstatere, at Sovjetunionen stadig ville eksistere, hvis kommunismen fungerede i dens oprindelige betydning. Desuden ville Nordkorea også være et godt land, hvis det var tilfældet. Så kan man så spørge sig selv om, hvorvidt vi skal have en "semikommunistisk" regering eller ej :)

I love Denmark because we have been able to combine individual freedom with social security. I love knowing that a minimum of people are suffering around me. I love knowing than even if I fall, there will be others to help me up. And I love being able to help people find their footing again.

I love the nature and the reserved but friendly people living here.

The sunset and the nightsky. The bikes and the smiles.

These are some of the things I have come to appreciate after living overseas.
