REACH112 (Responding to all citizens needing help) is
a three-year project partially funded by the European Commission under the ICT PSP CIP programme. It has 22 partners in Europe, including user organisations and major global telecommunications companies.
REACH112 has three main goals:
To increase opportunities for all people to communicate at a distance in video, voice and text
To provide the relay services to allow people who use Total Conversation to reach the population who use voice telephones
To provide direct access to emergency services (999, 112) through Total Conversation
The project runs from 2009 until 2012.
