The only thing videos like this are good for is deviding opinion as far as I'm concerned . I prefer bikes myself but realise cars will always out-brake or corner bikes while bikes will probably out accelerate cars point is though some tracks favour acceleration while others are better suited to cornering / braking so you can fix the outcome over a lap by choice of track in theory what it all boils down to imo is which do you prefer cars or bikes ? and sticking to what you like otherwise it just

they are far and away the fastest way of lapping a circuit.

bikes are great fun,but an f1 car is a total differant animal.

You can't compare the two as they are totally different machines, the laws of physics means the F1 car with huge contact area and massive down force will be faster in a corner, A Gp bike has a tiny contact patch and very minimal down force as well as shit loads of power = more chance of losing traction so there's no point comparing.

Having said that F1 is fucking boring, goes on too long and is won by the pit crew, Gp, wsbk, bsb etc is a better spectator sport and involves more skill.

@MrMattPike who cares for top speed? Only noobs care of it. Lap times is what matter and the motogp are much slower than F1 cars.

@MrMattPike Theoretically still not possible since the power to weight ratio from a F1 car still higher than that of a MotoGP bike. So on paper the car is faster than the bike it's all up to the driver who wins... But I would still love to see a bike win over a F1 car anyday. :)
