a new fan; i just got me a 7d, my buddy only show in raw; he tells me that there is a big difference between raw and jpeg. i do lots of research and found no difference, other than bigger file sizes that takes up lots of spaces. by the way we shot car photo.
any help will be fine, should i shoot in raw only or in jpeg?
thanks

@bitemegumby I do have a video that discusses the difference between shooting in JPEG and RAW. It boils down to preference and need. There is a time and a place to shoot both. If your shooting cars, then I would assume your doing a decent amount of post on them. If so, then I would suggest you shoot RAW. There are noticeable difference between the two. However, difference are more noticeable during post. Hope this helps, thanks for watching!
