Hi! Do you have shoot onlye the light projection of the 8mm projector, with no film, or it was projecting a clear leader? I lke the result. Very close to 8mm look. (sorry, I don't speak English very well =)

I see a lot of times some directors try to do good tinks in film cameras but the films are crabs but anothers make great thinks in digital....we rent before film cameras but now we have hvx 200 and sony ex1 and lenses convertion and its the great deal.

Is that the music from Eternal Sunshine? It is, isn't it?!
looks good except for the pulsing - which looks too computer generated

The pulsing is actually completely real from the 8mm projector I used. I only used a computer to edit together the shots and combine the real 8mm film grain/scratches with the DV footage.

Pretty nice technique. I have plenty of stuff shot on film, though I never had anything close to a good transfer. The film stock in this clip - though kind of hard to tell, looks good enough to be 16mm. Do you use 8mm negative? Here in the states, I think only reversal is available.

Kodachrome 8mm Colour Reversal. Out of stock these days but you can still find it if you look hard enough.
