Brandee baked three loaves of pumkin bread in different containers for exactly one hour at 350 degrees. Each loaf had different browning, based on what container it was cooked in. The PlexiGlas did the most even cooking, and was cooked the least (But perfectly done); The Teflon was slightly more done and started showing some dark crust on the bottom, however it was a mostly uniform crust; The silicon pan was the most done (By ten minutes in relative cooking time) and had toasty crust on the bottom of the loaf - The silicone pan had the least uniform crust finish, and rack marks were actually visible from where the silicone sat in the oven.

  • Um... Just to let you know you're not supposed to put the silicone directly on the rack... EVER!!!!

You're supposed to put it on a cookie sheet.

    This is why it

    A) Got dark

    B) Has the rack lines on it

    Way to read the directions!

  • That's what YouTube is all about! Thanks for that helpful tip - I've learned something and you've made this a better site Thanks! : )
