The people of Pudong/Nanhui District know how to co-ordinate an impressive unco-ordinated display of fireworks.
In absolutely every direction fireworks were going off, and not the sissy roman candles we're stuck with either in the west. By the end, the air was thick with smoke and it got a little difficult to breath.
The scene went on for pretty much 40 minutes at peak strength (had been going on since 5pm and peaked at 12am).
新年快乐!!
