I would not normally put "punk" and "gorgeous" into the same sentence when describing the same song, but the Kinks brilliantly pulled it off.

I've been listening to this on the 6 CD box set that came out a year ago, and that version is gorgeous too.
The Kinks did so many gorgeous songs in their later years. I just can't agree with people who say they sucked in the 80's and 90's, they most definitely did not!

I would also love to see a video of the Kinks doing "Summer's Gone", to me one of their better songs of the 80's.
