Regardless of whether or not you support the death penalty in principle, it's likely that you believe that the ultimate punishment should be reserved for the "worst of the worst" crimes, that it should be applied fairly, and that innocent people should not be executed. This documentary assumes that the "Burden of Proof" is on the State to prove that the death penalty system it operates is in good working order. However, growing mounds of powerful evidence, fragments of which are dramatically illustrated in "Burden of Proof," suggest that the system is so badly broken that it's time to stop executing people for a while in order to step back and take a hard, sober look at things. "Burden of Proof" will give some of the most ardent death penalty supporters second thoughts about how confident we can be about the reliability of the state's death penalty machinery.

Do not get me wrong people must be punished, however people spend most of there lives on death row from there late teens, people as young as 17 are given the death sentance. Most kids do not know any better and it is mostly the poor people with bad education and hard upbringings that do not realise right from wrong. If there adults an your 100% sure there gulity and death is the only option for them FINE. If there teens who simply get rush through the system then shame on the courts.

The way people die in prison on "death row" is by injection of 3 drugs. Once of these drugs is basicly acid that burns through any pain killer previously give to the inmate in question. The system are aware of this and this is the reason for the other drug that makes them unable to move or speak unless they try really hard, witch is also very painful. So in short the person is burnt from the inside unable to move or speak. This is no different than tieing someone up and setting them on fire.
