This is our registered stallions section D welsh cob Comet on the road for the first time with a cart. We are getting really excited about him! Slowly we are going to add weight to the cart, and then eventually ride in it when we feel safe enough. We all have a lot to learn. Constructive criticism is appreciated, nasty comments are not as we admit we are amateurs and this is the first horse we have ever trained.
@fourwesties Thank you for your advice, He actually had the cart on him several times before this video, but this was his first time on the road hooked up to the cart. Thanks for your compliment!

Good for you!!! Just a couple of suggestions, the breeching is way too loose. It needs to act as your brakes to keep the cart away from his hind legs. Also it is safer to have you in the cart with a person leading him at first. If he took off or jumped , you lose control as he could turn around and upset the cart. It is impossible to hold him is he runs off. However If you are in the cart you will bwe able to stay with him to get him under control. Good work , loveyly boy,,,Jean
