Known for his strapping physique and deep, gravelly voice, Perlman has gained a huge cult following with his gift for playing physically deformed but deeply sensitive characters. He earned an Emmy nomination and a Golden Globe for his breakthrough performance in the TV fantasy Beauty and the Beast, and has been in constant demand as an actor and voiceover artist ever since, starring in such big-screen hits as Alien: Resurrection and Hellboy. In Sons of Anarchy, he plays the embattled motorcycle gang leader Clay Morrow, opposite Katey Sagal and Charlie Hunnam.
