A boot time test of my new PC build, with a Mac Mini budget:
- Intel Core i3-2100
- H61 Chipset Asus Motherboard
- 8GB DDR3-1333 RAM
- Intel 320 SSD 120GB
- Nvidia GTS 450 Display Card
- Windows 7 64-bit

Power Consumption:
Off: 3W
Idle: ~54W
Load: ~80W
3D Gaming: ~105W

Boot time:
Power Button to BIOS Load Complete: 0:08 - 0:28 (20sec)
Power Button to Login Screen: 0:08 - 0:39 (31sec)
Power Button to Login Complete: 0:08 - 0:46 (38sec)
BIOS Complete to Ready: 0:28 - 0:46 (18sec)

  • i don't understand, windows 7 its self is 200 dollars, are you using pirated version, because of low budget?

  • @SerbiaVlog The Mac Mini which comes with a dedicated GPU is USD800, mine including the Win 7 is similar to that price. Not to mention that my build has double the RAM (8GB vs. 4GB on Mac Mini), four times the DDR memory on the dedicated display card (1GB GTS450 vs. 256MB 6630M) and an Intel SSD (instead of the 5400rpm HDD on Mac Mini).
