I just removed a fretboard off my Simon Patrick. Wasn't my slickest job. Took off the two heel bolts then applied heatgun to the fretboard. Olfa razor blades to wedge underneath. I got half way, gave a bit of torque paying attention to the slight creeking. BOOM lol the guitar exploded razors flying everywhere. 1/32 of jagged top wood stayed on fretboard. I have to reseat, glue and clamp. Needed more heat possibly? The glue was stronger than the wood!
