Petaling Jaya, 28th May -- The largest ever "1 Malaysia Parents Day" was held on 28 May 2011 at Sunway Lagoon, and brought yet another milestone of accomplishment to our journey of charity. The day was also the grand launch of a coffee table book entitled the "1 Caring Heart Malaysian". This event was organised by EMC Global together with the support from various co-organisers, sponsors, charitable organisations and business associates. More than 10,000 tickets were sent for market distribution.
The Organising Chairman, Puan Sri Dr Susan Cheah said that "The Biggest 1 Malaysia Parents Day" held in Sunway Lagoon was aimed to celebrate Parents day. It's a day to say "thank you "to our dear parents for always extending their unconditional love to us. Parents are always there to guide and inspire us, to help us to attain our dreams and desires, wisdom and insight are part of their way of giving and their faith in their children brighten their days. All these carry a special meaning to promote today's function.
Remarkably with less than a few weeks of concerted effort, The '1 Caring Heart Malaysian" was published with an aim to foster more network, unity, goodwill, acceptance and friendship amongst Malaysians .This is very much in line to support the concept of 1 Malaysia as advocated by our beloved Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak with the objectives of promoting ethnic harmony, national, family values and respects.
In the "1 Caring Heart Malaysian" coffee table book, the Prime Minister's wife Datin Paduka Seri Rosmah Mansor expressed her support of initiatives taken for this event, and encouraged the nation's co-operation in building a caring society.
During the press conference, Deputy Minister of Women, Family and Community Development Ministry, YB Senator Heng Seai Kie said this event will help develop healthy family relationships and is a great contribution to our community.

Puan Sri elaborated that more funds could be raised with concerted effort from the public as fund raising for the needy, the JC Foundation, the Federation of Hakka Association, The Federation of Chinese Associations Malaysia and Nation-building related events are the few project awareness she has in mind.
The book enlists the help of many local generous donors who are supportive of the day's event of charitable deed which facilitated the underprivileged to share some good times with communities. "The Biggest 1 Malaysian Parents Day ", let this initiative be the forefront of our noble deed and we look forward to more encouragement from the public to make much difference to impact someone's life.
As a platform for our project, the coffee table book is to be sold at RM15 each. We look forward to the public's support. Have a great time on the 28th of May as Sunway Lagoon comprises five differently themed parks including the Water Park, the Scream Park, the Amusement Park, the Extreme Park and the Wildlife Park, which provide more than 80 attractions.
