  • This concert was recorded on September,24, 1969 --- Exatally 40 years ago ! And today (Sep.24,2009) is my birthday; i´m 40 years today!!

    Deep Purple recorded this fantastic and historic gig with the Royal Phylarmonic Orchestra in the same day I came to the World!! It´s something great for me!!!

  • Phenomenal. I just sincerely hope these all admittedly pretty old men realized they took part in the history of the music and most likely the most prominent and contemporary to this day band.

  • Fascinating stuff!!..not the first time I've heard a fusion of classical and rock but one of the best I've seen..must be a nightmare for the sound engineers to try and balance it all up!!..we should more stuff like this today!!..
