This is film of Josephine Baker (1906-1975) that I've long-time loved and wanted to upload here.
It's of a performance of 'The Plantation' recorded at the Folies Bergères, Paris, in 1927.
The audio track I've added in 'Livery Stable Blues' (1917).
Hope you like it!
hi pediatrapaola - yes it's the quality of the film that tempted me to upload it. i have another one - not so good quality ' from the same film La revue de revues' of Josephine Baker at the Folies Bergères (1927) - it's a cafe scene dance - maybe i'll upload it anywway
