Following a modified Ford GT40

Me following a nice Ford GT40 around in Molde, Norway. I dont think this car is original, because it was painted in the "gulf" racing colors and most of the parts on the car was changed into racing parts. The windows made of plexiglass, big air intake on the roof, the engine (i guess) was modified ++. The sound of this car was amazing.

More than likely a replicar: only a few Gulf "Mirage" GT40s were built, and none are road legal.

yeah, it's a replica, built by a racecardriver from germany, then modified some years ago by a norwegian... 440bhp on the wheels :D

Any Ford GT40 can be road legal, just like a 250 GTO, Testa Rossa, Ferrari P4, Lola T70, Porsche 550 Spyder etc... But I bet that this car in the video is a replica. I'm considering a Superformance GT40 C. or a Porsche 917 tube by tube reproduction myself.

There was one i think, converted to a road car from a racer... Noel Edmunds (that guy with the beard has/had one) it had a little bubble in the roof and the pedals had been moved forward so taller people could drive it... but i must confess, i dont know the exact origins of this car.
