I don't really get the power hungry bit, my question is...How is Lois this stupid? I mean world class reporter, even at this stage, but still she can't figure out that when she calls Clark out of the blue that suddenly she is saved by someone she never sees. Due to the fact she already knows about a red/blue blur it seems like an easy leap.
