This is the first news story done on NetRadio, the world's first Internet-only radio network. There's lots of fun history here. We were pushing this stuff to people with 600 baud modems! There's a Silicon Graphics Indy Webforce on my desk. At the time, it was the most powerful desktop computer you could buy and it was very expensive.

Anyway, it's a hoot to watch this thing now. For more up to date stuff, visit my blogs at http://www.podcastgearguy.com or http://www.podcastingtricks.com.

  • Where was NetRadio offices in the video? The outside looks kinda like Designer's Guild commons.

  • It was in downtown Minneapolis near the river but we can't remember the name of the building.

  • The name of the building was Riverplace.

  • To be fair, not everyone had acces to the Internet like we do now. So many were ignorant on the jargon. Hell, having an email made you a nerd.

  • WXYC was the first.
