Being a German your comments have just let me get mad. We Germans, almost all of us (nearly 98% of 82 millions) nowadays are deeply concious of what happened during these terrible 12 years of terror, although we, as young people, would have nothing to do with this time.

Believe me when i say, Germany is one of the most pacifistic countries on this world.

Our heroes are not fighters in war, but fighters for peace like Sophie Scholl.

And you dare to affront them?

  • We had our scholl reunion in 2008. It was fun. My grandmother's father was the brother of sophie's father. So I love to watch all sorts of trailers about this movie.

  • @Lehelmuc22 Now because of Germans such high anti-nationalistic views Germany continues to get eaten alive and ethnically cleansed by immigrants. That is your undoing!!

  • I have seen this film of course in german and I'm so proud of sophie and hans that they make that that they make the leaflets and I know hitler was in germany too but I'm a proud german and sophie is ever in my heart and hans too

  • @Lehelmuc22

Well said... I"m from the USA and we know very well there were great men and women in Germany that fought with a conscience and tried to stop what happened.. Sophie is one of them... Don't worry about idiots that fail to recognize this....

  • The translation says she was born in 1941, but it was 1921

  • What a lesson of courage. People like Sophie Scholl, mother Theresa, or those who work for the red cross,etc... who should rule the world or be president of developed countries. Not those greedy bastards who obey to the oligarchs of economy.

  • Inspired!

  • R.I.P The White Rose... and wait, the actor doesn't look like Sophie :/

  • I saw it to, around 4 years ago in a Philosophy class. I remembered it and I was looking for it 'cause was a great movie that really make me re-think the role of the students militants in recent History..

  • I watched this movie in my History lesson. It's really good!

  • Tu vis dans nos coeurs Sophie.
