Amader Chhoto Nadi_Tayeba Lipi

The piece was made for the 3rd video art workshop "Across the Street" by Britto Arts Trust in 2009. I did a journey by boat from the river Shitalakkha, Narayanganj to river Buriganga, Dhaka. From the clean water to the polluted dirty water. I tried to take the footage of all odds of the banks of the river near and in the middle of Dhaka city. The significant poetry of Rabidranath Tagore regarding his pleasant small river was read by a little girl "Mounata". I tried to compose the detail of that lovely poetry through the complete opposite condition of the river Buriganga.
