  • People who argue that either the A-10 or SU-25 is better is an opinionated circlejerker. Comparing the 2 is near impossible due to how different their method of weapon delivery is.

  • @TwistedComplex

Besides, it carries way more gun ammo, so the A-10 makes up for the lack of speed with lots of firepower.

  • @bombarderoazul you do realize the A-10 is BUILT to be slow retard

thats way its called CLOSE AIR support

jesus christ, thats way the A-10 is the best anti tank plane in the world, because of its loitering times

  • @RUSSIAmiami The Iraqis, using Soviet anti-aircraft weapons and Soviet tactics sure seemed to have a problem when taking on the A-10. As for the SU-25 being "impossible to shoot down", well, that's just your ignorance showing.

  • Cockpit can withstand, I believe 30mm fire. (Not the glass of course)... Welded titanium sheets.

  • Su-25 is supersonic but only when it has dropped all weapons and payloads, but it's still a lot faster than A-10.

  • @RUSSIAmiami SU 25 is supresonic. But only once in its life...:-D Of course its subsonic ground attack aircraft vith nearly same capabilities as A-10...

  • News flash: the frogfoot sucks. Supersonic is USELESS for the CAS mission. With those huge inefficient Russian engines the enemy will hear it coming miles away. the A-10's deadly quiet subsonic performance is intentional, not a matter of a lack of engineering superiority.

  • @AdagioInfernal Except you made it sound like Su-25 was only capable of dropping dumb bombs and rockets. Those old Su-25 are being upgraded to SM standard. Last I check Russia had 18 of them so far with others

  • @darkon112 Yes, but there are fewer than ten Su-25T, the majority of Russian aviation missions CAS is composed of old Su-25 with the capabilities already described.
