  • Such fantastic animals. It's a shame their natural habitat is melting.

  • You brought up koala and kangaroo culling for population control, so i could bring up the slaughter of whales for burgers, however they aren't relative to holding animals captive. Please point out where I am confused, to me the evidence is in the video.

  • You got me thinking too, perhaps it would be wrong to close the zoo because of the good work being done in keeping dieing species alive. If it is the best they can do then they can't do anymore. It still doesn't it make it right. Perhaps the government through its people should invest greater resources to make the zoo more accommodating. Wouldn't you rather see them playing happily and naturally rather than being mentally incapacitated, possibly for life?

  • However, you are confused by false information.

I do not tell you a lie.

  • i looked up the koala's and it seems they are overpopulated or running out of habitat. i believe dieing free is better than being held captive in squalid conditions. i would rather less development and more koala habitat but such is the way of "progress". If the zoo is short on money and doing the best it can then i apologise, i'm sure they are very dedicated to their animals. i just felt to say nothing would be wrong, surely there must be a better way to hold them.

  • I understood what you means.

Something you said got me thinking.

    Thanks!!

  • If you fail to see the negative impacts on the animals in treating them in such a way, torture by confined captivity, then i don't have much hope for any other exhibits. you have to agree this is not right, period. wouldn't you rather die than be held captive in such a way? if the other exhibits are better than i apologise for the blanket statement. i was just surprised japan is allowed to hold animals captive in such a way in this day and age.

  • i disagree with the culling of kangaroo's. it is due to overpopulation. i was for the relocation. killing koala's? i am unaware if it is true however i very much doubt it. their population is in decline. it is one thing to cull animals to bring their population to sustainable levels and it is a completely different thing to parade animals in disgusting exhibits for the entertainment of people. I have seen your other video with the tiger and it is in pretty much the same state as the polar bear.

  • Please search by "african savanna zone tennoji zoo".

This zoo is trying to make comfortable environment for animals. It's not ideal yet. But, you said that "should be closed". It's wrong.

  • Thanks!

I have been to Australian many zoos.

    Those zoos were very good.

But... The country which abuses kangaroos and koalas as destructive animals recently. Oh, look who's talking!

There are also several ideal zoos like Dubbo zoo in Japan.

For example "Adventure World" in Shirahama. When it's compared with such zoo, Tennoji zoo isn't ideal. But it is wrong to tell to close.

  • Look up Dubbo zoo in Aus. All the animals in that zoo appear to be comfortable, relaxed and go about their normal routine. This polar bear is being subjected to torture. It is clearly not happy and very much in distress, look it up. So now you are saying that at least its being fed so that it should be happy because there is no food for it naturally and again i say its no reason to torture it, your ignorance is disgusting, you disgust me. Shame on you.
