An instrumental cover I have done of Muse's Supermassive Black Hole. If you liked this you may also like the (almost) acoustic cover of Uprising: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EOYql0tpE80

Intro: E G E G E x 4
E G E G E G E Am Bm x 4

Verse: E--E--E--E--E----5-3---E--E--E--E--E----5-7 x 2

Chorus (arpeggios): Am G Bm Em F# Gm x4

  • in all honesty i was skeptical when i saw how you were playing it till you got to

0:50 you then won me over =D

bravo its no easy feat =L

  • @joeyrenaissance Firstly I've changed all parts of the intro to open chords instead of single notes and the G is not one octave up like it is in the original.

The verse is completely different. I just tried to get rhythm out of it with a few E5 power chords and some single notes.

Finally, the chorus is again changed to all open chords but I play arpeggios to reflect the vocals, actually the backing vocals in particular (i.e. "Glaciers melting in the dead of the night...").

    Hope that helps.

  • Awesome cover and you made it your own!

  • Que capo me re copa como isistes el cover muy bueno la verda segui asi me re gusto el video :D

  • @markoos88 Yes, extremely helpful thank you. Lol yeah it feels right listening to it but whn trying to sing along with the verse it doesnt work at all. All the other parts actualli work out pretty decent. I realli like how u made the intro into open chords, it makes much more sense doing that for acoustic guitar.

  • @markoos88 what do u mean u change parts? did u just move the entire scale up or down? Or did u actualli alter some parts of it?

  • AMAZING!!!

  • noob
