Walmart has forced Americans to change (jobs and buying habits). So the question then becomes, "Is change good or bad?".

Walmart has benefited the American economy and occasionally, a few must endure hardships for the greater good. Most of us will have our turn as well, so the best advice is to be prepared. Simply put "Change, or become extinct".

It depends on people's outlook and true nature. Selfish people will always find ways to support who they are and convince people to support them without question. Like minded will always support the like minded. This is why we need disclosure and transparency so people can decide who they want in their life-public and private to minimize hate mongering. an example segrgate people who live like the NeoNazis and KKK all over the world. People who worship money and power should be all put together.

actually it should be America's goddamn problem because they are supporting these abuses and their companies. And the problem of any rich nation whose companies do the same thing, I mean we would never tolerate it anymore on our own soil but it's ok to go exploit teens in other countries, what hypocrisy! Every time I hear Americans talking it's like they don't know or don't care about anything beyond their borders.

sure everyone likes low prices obviously but at what expense? And im not talking about customer service I could care less. Wall mart has been putting smaller businesses out of business for decades and get most of their products by the exploitation of the third world. Just this reason is enough to trash them and most big corporations who contribute to violations of human rights for profit worldwide.

Let people decide. Its funny how some towns hate the thought of it, then they get one and they all go there. People go where they want. If you want to go to ace hardware and pay 2.5 x as more for better customer service, go for it. If you want to be like me, teach myself from reading internet articles, then save money at walmart, go for it. People have spoken. Most people don't want to overpay. That's the bottom line and there is nothing else to say.
