@blairequip For drilling holes for olets in stainless pipe, I always used a chain grip to secure a piece of 4" channel iron to the pipe (protected with a layer of duct tape between the two), then attach the magnet to the channel iron. It worked well, but you have to remember not to let the carbon steel rub the stainless.
It sure will. There is no problem drilling through ss or non-ferrous materials, you just need to hold the material. As the magnetic on the drill will not hold to the ss and non-ferrous.

It sure will. There is no problem drilling through ss or non-ferrous materials, you just need to hold the material. As the magnetic on the drill will not hold to the ss and non-ferrous.
