Ryan Litt during qualifying, Oct. 1/11 at Bristol Motor Speedway. This lap was a 13.02 at 148mph, good enough for 3rd position.

@c103110 My guess is they dont advertise it because its more exciting then nascar, some track done even allow different classes to run because of that.

Thanks for the video! I went to Bristol that day and watched the action, but this is the perspective I was looking for. Too bad they didn't advertise the show.

Bristol would be a great track to run the Little 500, lap car's would have a better chance to stay on the lead lap longer.

My first time at Bristol was for this race. Awsome show, the laps times were crazy. I was hoping to see you guys at the Dells again this year.

How big is the track? That's pretty crazy driving. Just go faster and faster trying to find the perfect speed faster than others but safe enough to prevent a spin out. Do they use the speedometer or tackometer to tell them what speed they should be going on certain parts of the track or is it done by feel???

@sanfranciscobay - Only a tach is used. No speedos. We basically set the gear ratio and aim to get the car to a certain RPM (usually 7800-8300). From there it is just feel.
