  • I miss the old Meijer :C

  • My brother worked there about 10 years ago... now he is at the store in Jenison. He has a number of signs and other stuff from Plainfield when it closed. RIP store 12!!!

  • Man nice video....I had thought the Benton Harbor, MI Meijer was the only that had a back entrance....ours had one years ago and when they did the renovations in the early 90's they got rid of the back entrance. I love Meijer more and more.

  • I have MANY fond memories of this store. This was always the store to venture through at like 2:00 AM after hitting Denny's on the way back home. I went the last day it was open... I was surprised how emotional I was about it.

    Godspeed, store #012.

  • I feel like I should send you some money. Why did you do this?? I am so grateful, sorry for gushing.

  • THANK YOU SO MUCH for taking the time and trouble to make a high-quality video of a place where I grew up. I spent hundreds of hours there with my beloved father who is now gone. He and I would play there, putting those stupid fake animals with real fur in the middle of aisles, then hiding and watching people's reactions. We would always put our arm around each other, while walking to the entrance. We became friends with the employees. I wish that it didn't have to go. It has been traumatic.

  • ive seen the new one

  • ive been there!!

  • Unbelievable, Are did they tore down Franklin Mills Apartments? Good job for new Meijer but Im sure going to miss this old one with tears.
