In this fake trailer, "Krypton will rise again." Clark Kent is faced with his most dangerous adventure yet when Brainiac, the Kryptonian brain interactive construct, arrives on Earth. His mission is to release Zod, Jor El's old and deadly nemesis, from the phantom zone. With Lex Luthor as his vessel, Zod unleashes his horrific plan to wipe out the human race and to rebuild Krypton on Earth. The only one who stands in his way is Clark Kent, the last son of Krypton.

The inspiration for this trailer comes from the new trailer for Terminator Salvation. I was blown away by it for it's energy and it's use of the song "The Day The World Went Away" by NIN. I had wanted to do a trailer about the Zod/Brainiac storyline in Smallville for a while now but was waiting to find a good way to do it. Terminator Salvation comes out May 21st so check out the trailer. I saw the trailer when I went to see Watchmen which is a film I highly recommend to those who haven't seen it yet. People seem pretty split on it and it seems it's one of those movies that you either love or hate. It's an unconventional movie that goes against the genera's formula so it's bound to not be for everyone. I personally thought that, along with The Dark Knight, it is one of the best comic book adaptations out there. True it's getting mixed reviews but some of the best films in cinema history, like Donnie Darko and Fight Club, had mixed reviews when they were first released. Now they are considered by many as classics.

Disclaimer: I do NOT own Smallville, Terminator Salvation, or any of the footage you see in this fan-trailer. All footage is owned by the CW Television Network, Warner Bros, and DC comics. Logos copyright of their respective owners.

  • ok see......Clark was already seen flying...when did he lose his flying abilities? that part really confuses me.

  • @kani92 Clark temporarily was able to fly in the season 4 premiere episode but lost the ability by the end of the episode. That's where that clip came from.

  • @mikemwp At that point, during that episode, he was affected by red kryptonite...so he actually wasn't himself... As red kryptonite had him going on high speed, he was more eager to use the powers for his own benefit. Somehow the he could use powers that were hidden within him when affected by it... He was later cured from the effects of red kryptonite... and back to walking

  • @MonCoin I'm not sure what you're referring or responding to? It might be a much older comment but I don't remember asking anything about red kryptonite or its affects on Clark.

  • Sick! .. What is this song though?

  • Thanks. Yeah I really dug the way the Terminator Salvation trailer used NIN. It made in exciting and left a feeling of doom for the world in the air.

  • LOVE THE ENDING!

  • What is the name of the background music?

  • @MonCoin WRONG! kryptonite had nothign at all to do with it, if you really watched the show you would know that in the end of season three jor-el took him and he was reborn in the beginning of season four as Kal-el,Kal-el was able to fly because that is his fully kryptonian side of him. it was not clark at all, Jor-el knew he could fly if he had full knowledge of his krptonian side..but his kryptonian side of him was split away from him at the end of that episode by martha kent with the black K

  • @MonCoin He wasn't actually affected by red K, he was under a reprogramming by a machine that Jor-El had placed in Smallville.

  • Epic trailer! All your trailers are amazing! Wicked job! Definitely getting a fave! :D
