  • buying an lt4 motor would be a waste of money. an lt1 block can be machined for four bolt mains. i built my motor, the weak points are now the (built) 4l60e, and the shit-tastic 10 bolt rear end. i thought about doing an lsx swap, but was going to be more work, and was going to cost about the same, building my the lt1 was easier and now i have a brand new motor. if i had done the swap i would've gotten a 50-60k mile LM7 (5.3l), they love boost, and 1/2 the price of an LQ4

  • Nice car. Are you planning to make some action videos? I'd love to see it.

  • @Curveball check my other videos, there are some. blew the stock motor and the turbo. just built a new heads/cam motor and i'm waiting on the new turbo, should be here next week, taking it easy the first 500 miles, then i'll definitely have some new action videos!

Thanks for the info. For future plans, you may want to give an LT4 motor a chance if you want to stay with the LT motors. It's 4 bolt main. Or, look into the LSX if you want to motor swap. I'm hearing the LSX can handle 2500hp.
