@romka4567 If it's cheaper to run a data center you can get by with less revenue. If it's cheaper to provide a service and there is well functioning competition that means prices are slightly lower for end users.
It could mean that ideas that were just at the margin before can be realized profitably. It could mean MMOs can charge slightly lower subscription fees. It could mean that youtube does not have to serve up quite as many ads to make ends meet. It's not going to be super-noticable.
@Costerguy1234556 That's only one department on HP. Like how SONY doesn't only do PSPs. HP doesn't only do Touchpads and it's not that important to the company as you can see from the development in other departments.
