80's Commercials Vol. 79

These commercials aired on local ABC affiliate KGO on January 20th, 1985 during Super Bowl XIX. Thanks to my Uncle for recording these.

2. Eastern Airlines (From my experience, airports are terrible everywhere)

7. United (I think this United stewardess is the same actress in the Mervyn's commercials I've posted)
8. Promo for "Police Story" (I love these short, random clips KGO used for their promo bumpers)

10. Almost Home Cookies (I think these were soft like Chewy Chips Ahoy...in other words, delicious as hell)
11. Diet Coke (Because nothing says football like diet soda, amirite?)
12. Promo for "Inauguration '85" presented by ABC News
13. IBM Assistant Series (Why is Charlie Chaplin herding ducks? I don't understand...)
14. Goodyear Vector (With the voice of James Earl Jones)
15. Classic Lite
16. Promo for "Good Morning America"
17. Promo for "Hardcastle & McCormick" and "Scandal Sheet"
18. Wesson Oil (With Florence Henderson!)

God i miss the 80s thanks so much for all these great commercials born in 1975 i lived through all this and it reminds me of simpler times before adult hood crept up and kicked me in the ass,Thanks 80s commercial dude.

When I was in college (go Mizzou!), I flew in and out of KCI several times. I'm pretty sure I never once had a spring in my step as I walked through the terminal.

Apparently, the Bay Area wasn't ready for an all-news radio station, since KFYI was no more by that July.

Has any drill sergeant shared a bag of cookies with any private, ever?

It's sort of amazing to me that plastic bottles were still innovative then. And wow, that "Beatrice" jingle seemed awkwardly stuck in.
