2011 Rnd 14 Eagles V Mittagong Hi-Lights

The Mittagong boys blew up at the ref over the last try, even to a point of having a player sin binned for it. I have watched it slowly and it is still hard to tell if there is any ball separation. The ref making the call was crouched down looking straight at the ball when he put it down. Surely he was in a better position than the touchy who was 25 metres away and put his flag up. I believe he was well within his rights to override the touchies flag.
