If you say that she deserved this, then so do you. She made a bad comment about his brother who killed himself, you're now making bad comments about a girl who has brain damage. It's pretty cold to make a comment about the dead. That goes without saying. However, though he had the right to be ANGRY about the comment, he did NOT have the right to attack her and put her in a coma. He let his anger rule his actions, and he came at her with steel toed boots with intent to kill. He had a right to be mad, but his actions are NOT justified. He knew exactly what he was doing when he hunted her down. She sends a stupid text, and he plans to kill her over it? Scary.

The boy was taunted about his dead brother. Lesson learned from this tragedy - don't taunt a boy about his dead brother.
