Model 1900 Browning: NRA National Firearms Museum Curator's Corner

John Popp joins Museum Senior Curator Phil Schreier to discuss a Model 1900 .32-auto Browning manufactured by Fabrique Nationale in Belgium. This beautiful pistol, which features banknote-style engraving, inlaid gold ribbon and mother-of-pearl grips, was kept by Roosevelt on his person and in his bedside drawer in the White House. It was passed down to Roosevelts grandson, who personally delivered it to the National Firearms Museum.

I believe that's actually an FN 1899 and not 1900. Smaller production run and precursor to the Military modified FN 1900.
