Stephen "Tin Tin" Duffy - Kiss me (US Remix)

Stephen's biggest hit from March 1985 - It reached No.4.




In 1978, John Taylor (guitar), Nick Rhodes (keyboard) and Stephen Duffy (vocals & bass) formed a band called "Duran Duran."

But in 1979, before Duran Duran became wildly succesful, Duffy moved on.

He formed "Tin Tin" in 1982 and within 24 hours had recorded "Kiss Me," which peaked at 155 in the UK charts. Signed to Sire Records in America the following year, the single became a club hit.

This was one of my all time favorite songs to dance to back in the 80's. I miss going to the Palace in Hollywood for Richard Blades KROQ night.. music just isn't the same these days :(

I was thirty-three when this came out but I never heard it until I was fifty-eight. I love the modulation about two thirds of the way in. It sends me! Really hypnotic. If I knew where to reach this artist, I'd send him a fan letter.

Its like I can literally/mentally put myself on the dance floor as this song is playing. Great dance tune as well as one of those teenage/young adult crush songs ever! I miss that decade. Thank God I was at the perfect age.
