Recently, British Royal Marines in Iraq wrote to Starbucks because they wanted to let them know how much they liked their coffees, and to request that they send some of it to the troops there.

Starbucks replied, telling the Royal Marines thank you for their support of their business, but that Starbucks does not support the war, nor anyone in it, and that they would not send the troops their brand of coffee. Audio by NATOarts

    too right mate, I never likes starbucks before but this really pisses me off I am not ever going to support their business again. They can go kiss Al-Qeda's or the Taliban's arse. I am Canadian and I say the boys in Royal Marines should get our Tim Hortons's Coffee -they wont ever want to go back to HippieBucks again.

  • As an American, I'd like to (very) explicitly state the following;

    F*ck Starbucks, their sh*tty overpriced coffee, and their liberal hippie bullsh*t. Thank you, Britain, for being one of the only countries to stick with us, regardless of whether or not you agreed with the war. And thank you, Royal Marines.

  • starbucks makes bad tasting coffee. go for another brand. tastes better, is cheaper and you don't depend on these US idiots from pc Washington State. they are all pussies up there anyway.

  • The lad on the 0.23secs at the end was my best mate royal marine Jason Mackie ASG, we went to college together I was actually two days away to do my PRMC when Jason died in afghan and still went down smashed everything but ended up not wanting to join at that moment in time, two years on I'm going back to continue my career to be a royal marine this year so wish me luck people and it's for you Mackie mate x

  • There shit is over priced crap anyway.

  • @TheLegendofPatrick backward beyond reason , we should be aiming our guns at scum like you first , you dont deserve the freedom these lads provide for you .pond life .

  • @bigrider2806 'Cause a bunch of ak weilding ragheads in some far off country are a real threat to my rights. Also, this story is an urban myth. It's false. It didn't happen. Check snopes you gullible shitcucnt.

  • @TheLegendofPatrick just remember they are fighting for your right to have that opinion .

  • @TheLegendofPatrick My piont is with ref to your attitude to the forces personnel and not the "story". To describe men and women who defend and die for our country as Goons shows the kind of person you are. You seem happy to live with the freedom these people have ensured that you enjoy but refer to them with contempt.
