This is one type of Japanese punk fusion. These clothes are mainly worn by people who like punk or visual rock music. They wear clothes which is attached gore, safety pins, studs, etc... These are very cool! But in Japan, some people regard these clothes as a little strange!

That's not true. I am an American Lolita and I know that the Japanese invented the style, though it was inspired and heavily based on the Victorian and Rococo periods which WERE NOT JAPANESE.

There are lots of American Lolitas and I have never seen a single one act like Americans made up the fashion.. don't stereotype. -_-" Gwen isn't exactly someone you should base all Americans on, she didn't even TRY to actually do the fashion, she just did it for the stupid publicity.

Asian subcultures are not only for Asians. I'm not sure if that's what you are trying to say or not, but I am an American and I am a part of the Lolita subculture which was invented in Japan. Fashion belongs to everyone, not any one race. And a lot of good fashions take inspirations from other fashions, nothing wrong with that. : ) Gothic Lolita for example was influenced by Western Goth, but it's still Lolita.
