I was going to tape the siren up close but I did not have enough time. As I was taping I noticed that my camera was almost out of battery power so I kept the lens cap closed for most of the test. I was at Lincoln Park in Denver, near downtown. The siren is a Thunderbolt 1000T with the chopper set real high. This has to be the only one that I know of that is set this high. It does sound great.

  • Nice vid! I'm guessing chopper level 6-7. Where is this T-bolt at?

  • @dillonrockband Greenlee Elementary School, Southwest of downtown.

  • I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that this Thunderbolt actually may very well be set to a lower chopper terminal than you would think, because this one has the exact same pitch as one I've recorded, and that one turned out to be set to terminal 5 (not 7 like I had originally thought). Another giveaway is the slower-than-average wind down this one has. See the following link to my video for a comparison and you'll see what I mean: watch?v=05U4jjZYGzk
