@lastandbesthope If there is no basis for morality outside of religion, then how does one differentiate between the severity of murder and the severity of working on a Sunday? According to the Ten Commandments, you will burn in hell for both. Without an intrinsic sense of morality, how can our society say that killing a man deserves life in prison while making a graven image is completely fine?

@NoahL Hitler and stalin were honest atheist. without religion there is no basis for morality beyond self induced illusion. think about it. christianity does not teach people to be stupid. paul states the thessilonicans were greater than the other churches because they debated his words. holding christian ideals, vs. atheist ones would change the hatefulness a lot. whether all christians follow those ideals as they should is another question.
