Here is a Yamaha CS-60 that we have had in storage since around 1996. It is in exceptional condition. These are normally fairly beat up because of their size and weight. Our friend Doron Kochli is playing this beast.

  • If that's what your ears are telling you then I'll assume your motif is for hobby purposes only and that you may be partially deaf.

  • A simple tip for CS60 owners.

If your aftertouch isn't working change the light bulb inside the case. The aftertouch is operated by a bulb and a light sensor.

  • hi man great sound you know where i can buy one? pls

  • @gavincurtis

sounds like an organ too :P

  • @chumleyuk

    Agreed

Sadly the CS-60's have a new name... "Organ Donor"

  • Wish someone would make a cs-60 retrofit like the Io for the Roland Juptier 4. That idea kicks.

Some things I would like in a retrofit would be the double the voices per note and use both panels at once, so it would be a mini CS-80 in effect, minus all the nice performance controls and 4 polyphony.

Oh, and interpolated cc control for all parameters. Ah, I can dream!

  • Look after it because they are usually chopped up for parts for the CS80s

  • Hey can somebody refer me to some awesome analog synths that i can integrate with my digital setup? Is this one of them? Any help would be appreciated thanks.

  • Actually fantom G series workstation can replicate most of these variables but still nothing close to the originals.

  • i love my cs50, this series of synths are so unique in sound!

  • nothing beats good old vintage synths!!
