I just watched the movie courageous. I cried like a baby. It was so well done and so true. My oldest daughter and her fiance also watched it and cried. Sure wish I never had to raise my two children without a dad, it hurt us all greatly. Thank you Alex for your courage.

@civilengineeringtech - I can understand your viewpoint (I am single, too). It is kind of hard to see all this "married" and "relationship" and "family" stuff going on when we don't have that. Remember, Jesus and Paul are among dudes who didn't either! In a way, we should think of this as preparation - we are getting information that some men get late if they don't get at all! In some ways, we are better off - more time to focus on Jesus!

It is amazing for men with out families, It shows us how men should act as fathers now and forever. What i took away from it was how i need to treat my future kids if it is in Gods plan for me to have them

I just saw the movie for the first time. I don't understand why all the buzz surrounding this movie??? I didn't like it, as I am fatherless and neither do I have any children so it didn't apply to me. I can see how this could affect fathers but what about the man without a family. There isn't anything inspiring about the movie to me as a single, God fearing man of faith. I don't get why even my pastor said I need to see this movie? It doesn't inspire me, Facing the Giants is better by far!

I just saw this movie in the theatre with my daughter and I must say it is the most convicting movie I have ever seen in my life. Every father should see this movie and pray that God will help them be the COURAGEOUS father He desires them to be not only for their own sakes, but for this generation, and the ones to follow. Thank you Alex for listening to God and making this film!!
