Slow Pop Duet Cover Version (2007). The cover song "Hey Paula" was first released in the early 60s by Ray Hildebrand and Jill Jackson and went up to #1 of the Billboard-Hot-100 in February 1963. In 2007 Traxx released an official modern slow version of the legendary pop duet. Additional to this "wedding-hit" rarity Traxx released 4 more songs on their new MAXI-CD which cover the broad range of their competence to handle different styles of the pop business. From Bryan-Adams style ballads like "YOU" to heavy pop rock AC/DC-style like "Rock´n Roll is back in town" the MAXI-CD is ready to delight!
Over long time there was not much to hear from Bernd Schal and Thomas Buch, two song writers from Berlin, Germany. The beginning of their career is back in the early 70s when bands like Rosetta Stone, Suzi Quatro, Sweet and the Bay-City Rollers had their high times. Started as a Berlin school-band they crowned their success by a concert in the Berlin Deutschland Halle in front of 3.000 people in 1979 during the BRAVO-Disco tour. During that time the band was named "Trouble". After beginning a professional career they renamed in "GOLF-Band" and recorded their first professional 45-rpm record at the legendary Hansa studios at Berlin in 1981. The band crushed in the early 80s. Since that time Bernd and Thomas build up a professional recording studio at Berlin, named Roscher-studios and released 2 CDs which show the development of the different styles in the pop music and professional recording technologies. With their new 2007 pop project named Traxx, Bernd and Thomas released their 3rd album. With "Hey Paula" they have made their dreams come true. They are back again after more than 30 years! Traxx released their first professional made MAXI-CD with 5 solid pop songs, melodic and powerful.
