as much barbaric as this seems, these bulls are well fed throughout their lives and given a pretty good life, definitely better than the ones grown to be food. They are not killed in the arena and their wounds are merely superficial. the main celebration thing here is the bravery of the men, not the suffering of the bull.

I doubt it. Its well known that bullfighting in Portugal isnt involving killing like Spain. Its no more barbaric than the Rodeo. And please, we need no more teacups in our colleges if you think THATS the end of the world.

actually only the spaniards kill the bull during the bullfight, the "torero" stabs it in the heart with a sword, but in Portugal the law forbids it, the bull ALWAYS lives, and only gets put down latter, in a slaughter house, and then his meat is sold just like any other cow, in the local meat markets

How many times do we have to say IN PORTUGAL THE BULL DOESN'T DIE... ONLY OF OLD AGE... because we don't kill him in the Bull fighting what you've seen in the video was the end of the Bull fighting period.
