Pilot film produced by Waste Management Film Productions Ltd for Suffolk County Council.

This short film follows the recyclables you put in the (blue) bin all the way to a MRF (materials recycling facility) in Ipswich next to a landfill site.

  • @YTSparty got to remember we mainly drink beer out of cans and we drink a LOT of beer.

Our milk is always in plastic bottles.

almost everything is packaged in plastic or cardboard or both.

I find we fill our recycling bin faster than the main bin, which we really only use for food waste etc

  • and then the wind BLOWS and all that paper in the pile ends up back on the streets. WEE!! see? it is being reused :p
