When I heard that Dr. Chu would become the energy secretary, I was worried that he would end up reenacting Mr. Smith Goes to Washington but in real life. I'm still kinda unsure that a scientist can fend for himself in a world of politics.
But it's nice to see the pragmatic and sensible ideas on energy that he and Senator Burr have.
