Inbox Missing From Youtube Homepage...WTF?

Ok here's the deal, I logged on Youtube on October 1st and i was presented with more useless boxes such as spotlight/trending (which you can't remove) and a missing inbox on my homepage. It's October 6th now and nothing's been done to fix this problem. Does anyone know any solutions to this problem?

Sorry for the cracking and high pitched noise, i need to get a new mic soon, you should suggest me one :]

UPDATE: Youtube has changed the frontpage and has included a mini inbox. So i guess we get in an inbox but at the price of a redesign frontpage....

shit just happend to me and my subs are not updating. WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON WITH YOUTUBE?! but i think they will fix the problem but its ridiculous they pull this shit on us. this is making me think twice about using this site anymore, and this is my favorite site.

@sephiroth900000 I feel ya, i love youtube too but there's no other video site that's popular or have many ppl viewing it compared to youtube. So it's pretty much you live with the changes or you leave, which really sucks!

Fuck YouTube updates. They're starting to get worser and more uglier.

First, YouTube fucked up the profile page. Then, YouTube replaced the stars with the like button and moved the description box down. After that, YouTube added spotlight/trending boxes to fuck up the homepage. Fuck you YouTube. Oh, and did I mention about the copyright shit?

whats up with facebook and youtube changing their layouts like every 2 months? It's like they just change it for the sake of changing it. you get used to one layout and then they put out another one, a worse one.

use firefox, installe the greasemonkey add-on and google the website userscripts(dot)org and download and install "remove trending and spotlight videos for youtube". Youtube removed the inbox to give more room to that shit, just boycott them by removing the stupid treanding, features and spotlight useless videos
