I'm starting a new series of "Quick Tips" videos - short tutorials in which I'll describe several techniques (new and old) used in the synthesizer world. This is the first video, the "1980s Limahl-style" synth arpeggio.

  • Ma che synth è quello che si sente all'inizio del video? Quel suono (non gli accordi, ma il suono) è preciso identico all'intro di Forever Young degli Alphaville!!!

  • Have you heard and enjoyed Kavinsky's stuff? Very 80's sci-fi/action movie arpeggiated synth stuff, he's also pals with Mr. Oizo. I'll post you a link if not :)

  • i used to use the midi on my Juno 106 to read the output signals from my Korg X50... It was awesome... polyphonic arps on my juno!
