Damien Gillis interviews Tim Leadem - counsel for the Conservation Coalition at the Cohen Inquiry into disappearing Fraser sockeye - regarding a pair of emails he produced at the Inquiry on August 23, 2011. The emails, from Dr. Kristi Miller to two different colleagues at DFO, allege that these colleagues, Drs. Christine MacWilliams and Stewart Johnson, had argued to the Regional Director for Science against allowing Miller to extend her research into a deadly virus found in wild salmon to farmed Atlantic salmon. When questioned on the stand by Leadem, both scientists claimed they had a different recollection of the events described in Miller's emails.
