The blessings of the Temple enable us to be sealed (connected) to our families after death and return back to the presence of our Father in Heaven. Visiting the Temple brings a sense of peace and spiritual strength.

  • I love the true and it is real

  • @magnus56j Infants have no need for baptism since baptism is for the remission of sins. An infant cannot sin. As the infant grows, he or she is taught about right and wrong and eventually is accountable for his actions and then chooses to be baptised.

  • Going to the temple makes my week so much better, I'm able to feel and hear the spirit free of worldly interruptions.

  • They are very beautiful buildings. I am impressed.

  • We feel a sense of peace as well when we go to the temple, or even just walk on the temple grounds. What feelings arise in you as you attend the temple or even just walk on sacred ground? We'd love to hear YOUR story and/or testimony of the church! Share it with us on Facebook; just search for us at "LDS Jewelry."

  • The Temples are beautiful! they are the house of the Father.

  • The CHURCH OF JESUS CHRIST OF LATTER DAY SAINTS IS A TRUE CHURCH! I'm glad to be LDS!

  • @jillywillyrn Yes, that answers my question, but I thought I should clear something up. The Orthodox do not believe that Adam's sin is upon the heads of every soul. That is an invented teaching of the Catholics and Protestants. The reason we Baptize infants is because through Baptism, one becomes a member of Christ's Body. The Church is the Body of Christ. We believe infants should be invited to participate in God's Kingdom through prayer, worship, baptism, chrismation, and Communion (Mt 19:14).

  • @gdbmaybe Actually, I'm not married. My understanding was that, when LDS couples get sealed in the temple, that also keeps their children together. Orthodox see marriage as a Holy Mystery and the mysteries of the Church are blessings God gives us during our early pilgrimage. But, anyway, that answers my question. Thanks!!
